6-inch Planter

Say hello to the planter of your dreams. This planter is actually two parts: a tall cylinder with a barely-there foot and a drainage hole sits upon a matching pedestal that serves as a drainage basin. The planter vessel is sized for a 6-inch plant to have ample room to grow. The elongated shape encourages deeper roots so you can cultivate taller stems and bigger blooms.

It all works just as you'd expect — as you water your plant, excess water is invisibly drained into the pedestal. This lets you avoid over-watering and dispose of the waste water without mess. The rolled rim makes it effortless to lift your plant pal on and off its throne. Unlike lesser plastic and composite planters, this all-ceramic design is durable and weather-resistant.

The pedestal is also designed to give your plant babies prominence. Note: Terracotta pedestals are glazed on the interior but will still patina over time. Terracotta planter vessels are unglazed for superior breathability and weather-resistance.
