Class Description:
Announcing the very first online offering of The Business of Craft, a revelatory business fundamentals werkshop for makers, artists, craftspeople, and designers. Whether you're still sketching out your idea or already up and running, you'll leave with a customized action-oriented plan for how to start, upgrade, or grow an artisanal business of any kind.
As an award-winning ceramic designer and entrepreneur, I'll walk you through every step I've taken — from the mindset required to start this journey, to discovering your unique voice, to how to use social media successfully, your first sale, and then five years after that. Expect clear, no-nonsense advice, real illustrated examples, and firsthand stories from the trenches. More than a business seminar, we'll talk about the role of intuition and spend time writing and reflecting.
This offering of The Business of Craft is specially designed for the all-important holiday season. You'll leave with a written, organized, and achievable roadmap for turning your passion into a lifestyle where work, play, and business go hand-in-hand. Expect the session to last three hours, with ample time for questions. And while the presentation will not be recorded, you will receive a recap slide deck with key pieces of information.
Refund Policy:
Tickets are refundable until 48 hours before the event, Sep 28 at 6 PM ET. After that time, tickets are non-refundable.
After Purchase:
You will receive a receipt email and a confirmation email which contains the link to join the Google Meet session.
After the Werkshop:
You will receive by email a PDF recapping key slides from the presentation.
