I’ll be teaching a 5-week wheel-throwing course at Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art called “Home Goods” beginning January 5th. Each class we’ll look at a different room in the home and throw pieces with new skills while discussing functionality, aesthetic, and value. The class includes a guided tour (by me!) through MOCA’s More Than Shelter exhibition. If you can center pretty consistently then you’re definitely ready for this class. And if you’re an expert wheel-thrower let me show you some new ideas.
